Artist Statement

Arches National Park contains approximately 2,500 sandstone arches, the highest concentration of such formations (with a minimum three-foot opening) in the world. As seen on Utah license plates for decades, Delicate Arch is perhaps the most famous. The trail through Devils Garden takes hikers past many others, including 306-foot long Landscape Arch and 160-foot wide Double O Arch, as depicted in this painting. ‰ÛÓ Bruce and Scott Sink
